Digital Wireless Solution
The objective of SotaComm was to create a digital wireless solution to integrate all IP-PBXs. Wi-Fi compatible SIP phones using traditional Wi-Fi
frequencies and Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications (DECT) technology can be deployed as a multi-cell solution for handover between
access points, were studied in detail.

TheVoIP system that was developed also allows users to accept, originate and transfer calls to and from specific wireless phones, regardless
of the user’s location. Also, users are provided with a full suite of unified communication tools like voice mail forwarding to email.
8 Wireless Phones
SotaComm has also partnered with snom technology AG (News - Alert) and integrated the snom m3 line of business DECT phones to the SotaComm IP PBX
product lines. Every snom m3 base station is capable of addressing 8 wireless phones as individual extensions or individual direct inbound
dialing (DID) numbers and is also connected to a singleEthernet connection capable of handling up to 3 concurrent calls.
The base station will have a range of 50 meters indoors and 300 meters outdoors and can be expanded up to six DECT repeaters.
SotaComm’s VoIP phone systems can save most organizations up to 60 percent of the cost of proprietary systems. SotaComm’s TB Pro includes
enterprise and call center features as well as the “Heads Up Display” (HUD), a visual operator panel that allows “drag-and-drop” calling and
transferring, as well as conference calling.
